New era of clinical trials collaborations: “Dear colleagues, we are looking for collaboration in conducting a clinical trial of…” — Physician, Immunology and Allergy, Germany.
Recently, on G-Med we see physicians from all around the globe calling out to their fellow colleagues inviting them to collaborate on multiple #clinicaltrials .
During the #Covid19 pandemic we observed a breakdown of the traditional circles of consultation — established networks to which physicians belonged to and which became insufficient. Issues regarding medication, treatment and advice on how to approach specific patient cases could not anymore be answered by their immediate circle of medical colleagues. Recently we observed a new level of networking, besides sharing and receiving information, physicians call out and offer clinical trial collaborations. This is a crucial step in the medical world.
